很多人都有寫日記的習慣，和中文的日記一樣，英語日記也是用來記錄一天之內所發生以及未來將要做的事情，只不過在寫作的要求和標準會有所不同，下面就來說一說英語日記格式的標準。
一、英語日記格式的標準
日記當天的日期會寫在左上角，星期和時間的順序和普通的信件一致，在右上角會標註當天的天氣情況，表示的詞語一般爲形容詞。
通常來說，寫日記的時間是在下午、晚上，或者在第二天記錄前一天的日記，所以在記錄時會用過去式來表示，但在記錄天氣時或者將來要做的事情時，需要用到現在時或將來時，至於其他的寫作方法和中文的日記一樣。
二、英語日記格式的範本
January 18, 20xx Friday Sunny
I'm free now, because I'm in the winter vacation.
Although I have some homework, I can finish them in a few days. There's plenty of time to rest and use. My god! After hard study, I have been very tired. In the winter vacation, I want to have enough sleep and a lot of delicious food to reward myself. Last but not least, I will have a good rest.
I have rested for a week, then began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn't go to a special place, we just had lunch together. While we were having lunch, we were still talking about the new school and new friends. One year later, we will become mature. We will learn more things, get a new life, but we do not have enough time to play, waste and lose. We only have two years. In two years, we will get really for our own life which only belongs to ourselves.
