第一個理由就是，當一個人有自信的時候，就會相信自己的能力。他會相信自己可以而且一定會成功，這一點讓他有勇氣嘗試新事物。想要成功，我們必須願意冒險，所以有自信是很重要的。另一個理由是，有信心的人很少放棄，即使失敗了，還是會不斷嘗試，直到成功。最後一個理由是，有信心的人不怕炫耀自己的成就，這並不表示他們應該自誇，而是應該優雅、有信心地接受別人的讚美。當他們在學業或工作上的成就更受人注目時，成功的可能性就更高了。
簡言之，我認爲自信是成功最重要的因素。自信使人勇於冒險，失敗了會再接再厲，成功時能享受自己的成就。有了這些能力，有信心的人就能夠輕易地在學業或工作上獲得成功。
