在寒假結束之後，可是我卻還在回味寒假中的趣事——放鞭炮。放鞭炮是春節的習俗，它對我們小孩子來說，是新年中最有趣的事情了。而我們今年的春節就是在外婆家的“爆竹聲”中度過的。
在除夕的那天晚上，我們一家人來到外婆家，在客廳坐了一下，我的舅舅也在那，一會之後，舅舅的孩子便吵着說要放鞭炮。剛好我們也買了些鞭炮過來。媽媽就對我說“你上去跟他們一起放，看好他們。”我興奮地說：“好啊!”其實這時候的我比他們還要高興呢。
我們一夥人飛快地來到天臺上，非常迫不及待的撕開了裝鞭炮的膠袋，不過我看到鞭炮的種類也真不少：有沖天炮、轟炸機、地老鼠、降落傘等等。還有一些最常見的火柴炮和沙炮，煙花也有不少。
我先讓他們點幾枝香過來，免得到時候用火機把手燒到了。在一切準備工作就緒以後，我們便可以開始放了。“先放什麼好呢?”我正在沉思。突然，我妹妹對我說：“先放‘降落傘’吧。我還沒看過呢!”其他孩子也表示贊成。“好!”我裝着一副“孩子王”的樣子說。
接着我把“降落傘”放在平地上，點燃了導火索，便走到一邊去。只見“降落傘”“籲”的一聲就飛到了天空中，就是“啪”的爆了，最有趣的來了：一個玩具小人拿着降落傘從天而降。就好像是日本人來侵略中國的戰鬥機爆炸了，大家看到這個情形都高興得連拍手掌。
一會之後又放“地老鼠”吧!我把香遞給妹妹，讓她來放。只見她把炮放在空地上，小心翼翼地點燃了以後，便走得遠遠的。“地老鼠”馬上開始分散，到處亂竄，還閃着不同顏色的火光，可一會兒便熄滅了。我不禁感慨：它的“生命”雖然很短，但它也對人們做出了貢獻，給人們帶來了快樂!
當我正在思考的.時候，我的媽媽上來了，她高興地說：“大家一起放煙花吧!”“好啊!”很明顯他們以耐不住性子了。就這樣，在黑夜中，他們拿着各自的煙花，在歡快地走着、跳着。我不禁笑了起來!
此時此刻的我彷彿看到了祖國的希望在這一片黑夜中閃爍着。今年我們放着鞭炮過除夕，過得真是有趣極了啊。明年春節的時候，我們還要來外婆家。
